M: SO . . . Whud you do Friday night?
JD: Not a damn thing. wasted the night away more or less. And you?
M: Research!
JD: Oh ya. What kind of research?
M: Looked into psychology and biology as potential moves away from electrical engineering?
JD: Say what?
M: Oh yeah. Found a couple career information sites on psychology and biology. Pretty informative. Looks like both fields could even blend in with each other. Could primarily go psychology with a few fingers in biology to become neuropsychologist. Could also do the reverse to become neurobiologist. Depends on which field you want to be involved more in.

JD: Okay man, whatever!
M: No man, not whatever. There's even an emerging field that combines electronics and biology. I can still be a NERD.

JD: Ya don't say. I tell ya what, keep your excitement to yourself. I'm outta here. Before I leave, question: are you sure you want to leave electrical engineering? It's been your stubborn dream for so many years now."

M: I know. Still need to give it some thought.
