Cliff notes

Well, after four to five weeks, I finally got my framed painting home from the framing shop. Now just got to hang the sucker.

Lets see . . . .
1) This is the first night since Saturday that I've gotten home before 11:30pm. 2) Schools going OK. I'm really enjoying my Microprocessors class. We are doing assembly language programming right now on a Xilinx chip set. Fields and Waves, though, can kiss my . . . 3) There was a total lunar eclipse last night if ya didn't know. Earlier yesterday, one web article I proclaimed, "All of Americas will have a front row seat! Weather permitting." Well, weather didn't permit around here. Very overcast. Booo. Now I got to wait three years. 4) I'm seeing great out of my left eye. On occasion, one of my eye's will kick in with much better vision. It's usually my left eye. The phenomenon usually only last a day or so. On this run, it's my left eye yet again and I'm on my second day. The vision is better today than yesterday. I'll say that it has to be one of the best kicks yet. It feels both great and funny at the same time to see this well, unaided. 5) Philosophy time: I recently saw a number of "news" types of stories revolving around how K-12 teachers are having to bend over backwards just to keep kids interested and parents happy that their sibling is both learning something and at the same time, not too overwhelmed with school and homework - for that would just be so traumatic as to affect their growth and development. This even applies to young adults right up to the 12th grade. Now why is it then that when they go to college just a year later, it's a whole new ball game. Sleep deprivation and dawn til midnight schedules. But wait, totally acceptable now, cause . . . you are an adult.

Peace.

Study Day

Oh what a day. I got up and left the house toward school around 8:20 this morning. Been there most of the day. I did manage to reward myself for my - dedication - by going to see Beowulf at the dollar theater. I thought it was very good.

Well I'll be getting up early again tomorrow morning for more studies, both solo and working with a lab partner. Will do that until the afternoon when my folks plan on coming over. Here's to tomorrow!

Cheers.
