Ever had a message on your answering machine from someone you have not heard from in a very long time and wondered "why are you calling me?" "There's got to be something in the background. Surely this can't be a friendly "Howdy" with a little BS thrown in." Well folks, it happened to me tonight. And the best part is that it WAS simply "Howdy." I called her with some reservation that truly ended on a positive note. Indeed a good feeling when most such calls have some other motive. I'll have to mark this one in the books.
